Windows along the two sides of the showroom maximize incoming natural light. A dramatic backdrop was created by removing walls to open up the space, and then reusing existing lighting as well as installing white carpeting and resilient flooring throughout to enhance the reflection of the natural light. The main architectural feature is an open screen organically patterned and inspired by the optimism of mid-century art and architecture. The pierced biomorphic shapes are cut from FSC-certified MDF.

All furniture in the showroom is GREENGUARD Certified for indoor air quality and in line with LEED credits for low-emitting materials. Teknion has registered this project with the U.S. Green Building Council with the certification goal of LEED-CI Gold.

Teknion’s Altos and Optos architectural wall systems create a boardroom, conference room, kitchen, as well as private offices. They were also used to create a 40-foot- long demising wall between the building’s common floor area and the Teknion showroom. Other products featured include the District and Leverage panel systems, Marketplace worktable, Expansion Casegoods and Expansion Desking, Foundations Conferencing and Casegoods, W/R/S wall rail system, Modular Cabinets, Conflux LED Lighting, dna collaborative lounge seating and tables, Vignette lounge seating and tables collection, plus many other models from Teknion’s extensive seating portfolio.
